Freund Drehtechnik GmbH was founded in 1983 as a metalworking company for the production of turned parts and today employs a staff of 85.
On 4,000 sqm, more than 3,000 t of steel are processed annually in bars, tubes and coils.
In addition to stainless steel and steel, aluminium and brass are also processed in diameters from 3 to 65 mm.
Thanks to the A45/A1 (north-south connection) and A2 (east-west connection) motorways and the proximity to Dortmund, Cologne-Bonn and Düsseldorf airports, we are optimally connected to international transport networks. In 2006, our second plant was therefore also built in Lüdenscheid, in the newly developed Wibschla industrial park, where our administration has been located ever since.
In 2023, the entire company, which previously consisted of two smaller plants, was centralized at the Wibschla site. In the course of this, a large-scale extension with a modern production hall and an integrated, central logistics center was built.
